This career taught me way more about people than it ever taught me about hair.

The hair grows out.

Being a hairstylist is wild.

One minute you’re a colorist.
The next you’re a therapist.
Then a photographer.
Then customer service.
Then a content creator.
Then an accountant.

And somehow you’re expected to remember where every foil, brush, charging cord, and energy drink disappeared to.

But when your client looks in the mirror and says, “This is exactly what I wanted,” suddenly it’s all worth it.

Hair isn’t just hair. It’s the reason a lot of us keep showing up every day.

Looking back over the past years in my calendar I very rarely have taken “sick days” off and I’m so thankful 🥹 for the clients that understand I’m also a real person who sometimes needs that extra day or two of rest!!!! That extension of grace absolutely doesn’t go unnoticed in my world. 🌎 I have and always will do my best to make the women who sit in my chair feel comfortable, seen, respected and valued.
