Sometimes we are not real enough with each other.

I’ve visited with a couple friends this week who asked me to “ignore their mess”. Well, here’s the deal. I don’t want to ignore the mess. I want to lean into the mess with you and talk about the mess. When we’re in the middle of the mess we tend to start to think that everything else around us is perfect and organized and lovely but it’s not. We are all a mess. None of us are perfect. We can’t be perfect. We don’t need to try to be perfect. We need Jesus. When life feels messy that’s okay.

You’re not alone. We are with you and we love you even in the mess, and so does God. 🩷
