Bring your family, explore our story, and be part of the legacy we’re continuing to build. Hope to see you there!

Join the community for Making a Home, Building a Nation, a public celebration honoring Carroll County’s 200th anniversary and America’s 250th anniversary.

Hosted by the University of West Georgia and the Carroll County Board of Commissioners, this free all-ages event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 423 College Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.

The event will offer opportunities to explore local history through storytelling, historical displays, trivia, and interactive activities that highlight the people, places, and stories that have shaped Carroll County over the past two centuries and continue to influence the nation today.
