Tchalosi is basically a song reminiscing about the good old days growing up as kids. Every night when the moon was out, after supper we used to gather outside telling and listening to fairy tales which usually started with "Padangokhala (Once upon a time)". We could dance, sing and play different games as part of our rich culture. This song reminds us that wherever we go, we should always remember our roots and traditions. As artists, this is us trying to preserve such Malawian customs that have been a part of our society for the future generations.
