To our students, staff, families, school board members, and community members observing Yom Kippur, we wish you a meaningful and peaceful day of reflection.

Our schools are strengthened by the many traditions, cultures, and faiths represented within our community—and by creating a place where every student and family feels welcomed and valued.

G’mar Chatima Tova to all who observe. 💙

💙 Support CCS endorsements matter.

When Support CCS endorses a candidate, we’re looking for people who understand that serving on the school board is about more than attending meetings—it’s about showing up for our students, educators, schools, and community.

We’re proud to see candidates we’ve endorsed who are currently serving on the board continue that commitment beyond the boardroom—including supporting organizations like the Carmel Education Foundation.

CEF has spent nearly 60 years investing in Carmel students and educators through classroom grants, scholarships, programs, and resources that enhance educational opportunities.

This is why we take our endorsement process seriously. We want leaders who value our schools, understand the importance of community partnerships, and continue to show up for Carmel Clay Schools in meaningful ways.

Strong leadership. Strong schools. Strong community. 💙

🍎🍯 Shana Tova!

Wishing a happy and sweet Rosh Hashanah to all of our Jewish students, families, staff, and community members celebrating the Jewish New Year.

May the year ahead bring joy, peace, good health, and many reasons to celebrate together. 💙

To all who celebrate, we wish you a meaningful Rosh Hashanah and a sweet new year!

Labor Day is a reminder that behind every organization are people—and our public schools are no different.

There are so many people who show up every day to make our schools work and our school boards play an important role in creating the environment where those employees can do their best work. From approving budgets and policies to hiring district leadership and making decisions that affect staffing, resources and working conditions, the choices made at the board table have a real impact on the people serving our students every day.

That’s one of the many reasons thoughtful, responsible school board leadership matters.

This Labor Day, we celebrate every person whose work keeps our schools moving forward—and the importance of leadership that values the people doing that work. 🇺🇸
