AT HOME AFTERCARE

Installed and cared for properly, Slavic Hair Extensions give you a completely natural look that falls, bounces, and shines as if it were your “real” hair. But, if you’re not careful, any Hair Extensions can also be a disaster. This just doesn’t have to be!

✅ Wash your hair every 2-3 times a week or even less. Wash it when you feel that the hair is greasy.
✅ Do not flip your hair upside down while washing.
✅ Deep cleanse of scalp is recommended in the while. It helps to remove dirt, grease and products built up. Make it with a professional special solution only on the top of your hair. Avoid bonds!
✅ Do not let the conditioner soak at the bonds.
✅ Use only professional shampoo/ conditioner/ mask. All products are available for purchase in our showroom!
✅ Use a thermal heat protectant solution when styling hair. Do not flat iron or apply excessive heat to the bond itself. It will melt bonds and extensions will slide down from your hair.
✅ Avoid salt water and chlorine water. Wear a swim cap. Chlore will dry out your extensions and due to the chemical reaction it will change the shade of previously toned/ colored extensions.
✅ Never fall asleep with wet hair extensions. Make sure the hair and bonds are dry before bedtime to avoid matting.
✅ At bedtime, braid hair into loose braids to prevent tangling and matting at the root area. ✅ Use a satin pillow or bonnet to also prevent tangling.
