Here's some good news. Mary Lint's vol. IV Music from my Heart "Songs of Christmas" is due to deliver in mid October.

Jon from Between the Lights laying down some bass and vocals on their project. What a graceful, kind collection of musicians. Appreciate so much the opportunity to work with them. I ran Jon’s bass through our sansamp pre w/ some help from our Black Lion Audio Inc. bluey. Jon is pictured w/ his old school Pevey Bass. A productive session.

And the instigation has began! The November Bring Your Song session 141 will be our first ever instigated collaboration. Chad and Jason will share the outcome of tonight’s brain child. Tonight, We have met our cold turkey meeting goal. The song has been chosen! “Animal Verdict” Chad and Jason have good chemistry it appears. They have an A, B & C section but are feeling a D section… working it out in front of me. Their next challenge is to complete the arrangement and lyrical content. Then they will schedule their scratch session, the outcome of which will be a scratch track which can be shared with session players. Their 3rd session will be a 10am to 10pm marathon the goal of which will be to have all parts recorded. The video crew will be here to capture start to finish takes of the rhythm section. The last side-car mixing session will find them sitting on the completion of their track! So keep a watch out for future sessions!

Ian Ross cook’n up some tasty licks.

From the electric out of the wall to the output buffers in the console. So many technical things involved in providing an organic, analog environment to create art in. I’ve wanted to invest my efforts in artists not gear. The paradox is that the better things work, the clearer we can hear your music, the more I can focus on what your heart is saying through your artful expressions. I love you guys, thank you for trusting me with your music. Love casts out fear… even fear of AI. There will always be a need for something real.
