Congratulations to WSDP Alum, Paul Sincock, on his retirement and 47 years serving Plymouth. Paul is also a WSDP Distinguished Alumni Award winner.

47 Years Strong: Plymouth Declares 'Paul J. Sincock Day' to Celebrate a Lifetime of Local Public Service.

The Plymouth City Commission officially issued a Proclamation declaring Friday, October 17, 2025, as "Paul J. Sincock Day" throughout the city.

The City celebrates Paul's retirement and his truly remarkable 47-year career in public service with Plymouth, a journey that started right here at home in 1978 (and even earlier as a rink guard!).

For decades, Paul's visionary leadership, financial stewardship, and collaborative spirit have shaped our city for the better. We are incredibly grateful for the culture of respect and teamwork he established, guided by his now-famous "Five Rules for Decision Making."

Join us in celebrating Paul’s extraordinary legacy and wishing him a well-deserved, happy retirement!

Amanda Matzo was part of the WSDP staff from 1985 to 1987. She passed away in 2015. Her sister was recently cleaning out Amanda's home and found these in her High School Memory Box. She said that Amanda loved her time at WSDP and that her mom still chuckles about memories of Amanda's time on the air.
