This report assimilates and summarizes prior research on bus supply chain for fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs), focusing principally upon those operated by the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) in Canton, Ohio.
Hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles provide one important path to decarbonization in transportation, particularly for heavy-duty applications such as transit and trucking. This study explores the regional assets along a major freight corridor from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis that could enable a hydrogen refueling infrastructure for transit agencies and long-haul trucking, the likely early adopters of low-emission hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.

New busses rolling in! Last week one of SARTA's hydrogen fuel cell buses stopped in San Antonio while on delivery to Canton, OH. VIA Metropolitan Transit was able to take a look and learn more about this zero-emission technology.
