🐾 Meet Carter & Reco! 🐾

For years, two very distinguished stone dogs have kept watch over the fireplaces at The Canton Regency—quietly greeting residents and guests without ever having a proper name.

That had to change.

So we asked our residents to help us name them, and the winning names were Carter & Reco, each submitted by a different resident!

And we couldn’t think of a better way to make it official than to have the real Carter and Reco—two of our beloved Maintenance team members—personally place their new name tags on their namesakes. 🐶

Carter and Reco are hardworking, kind, always willing to help and two of those people who have become such an important part of the Regency family. It seems only fitting that their names will now have a permanent place here, too.

Welcome to the family, Carter & Reco!❤️

And thank you to our residents for giving our longtime fireplace companions the names they deserved!

101 seniors. Margaritas. 🍹Double Cheeseburgers 🍔 in paradise. 🏝️ And one unforgettable afternoon.

Our Jimmy Buffett Bingo brought the island vibes to The Canton Regency with music, laughter, great food and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

More than 40 prizes were awarded, along with an amazing coverall 🪎, and our 101 guests made the afternoon one for the books.

A huge thank-you to Pattie and Ronee from SSIP Insurance Partners 👯‍♀️for co-sponsoring this incredible event and helping us create such a fun day for our community.

And a special shoutout to our resident DJ 🎧🎤, Billy Mannos, for keeping the island vibes going and spinning all our favorite Jimmy tunes.

Today, our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to MAPS Air Museum, taking in aviation history, discovering fascinating stories and sharing plenty of great conversation along the way.

Then it was off to Cracker Barrel for a delicious lunch—and, of course, some serious shopping! 🛍️

Our residents had plenty of time to browse all the Cracker Barrel favorites, treasures and treats before enjoying a wonderful meal together. Good food, good company and a few fun finds to bring home—what could be better?
