Frazer Elementary

The Stark County Bookmobile visited us at Frazer! 📚❤️ We love finding ways to share the love of reading!

First graders had a FABULOUS day at Varian Farms. 🍏

They learned about plant parts, apple varieties, and Johnny Appleseed. They rode on a trolley, watched an apple press in action, sipped apple c***r, and enjoyed the "rollercoaster".

They enjoyed every minute. ❤️

Did you know that our PTO has its own page? It’s a great place to find out about events, fundraisers, and ways to get involved. The next PTO meeting is Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00pm in the library.

Frazer is FIERCE!! Our 4th graders are learning leadership though service and giving back to the building and community each week! Thank you to our Advisors Mrs. Hatcher, Ms. Hummel, and Deputy Steve!

First graders and fourth graders teamed up today for their very first STEM project: APPLE TOWERS! 🍎

Their mission was to design and construct a tower of straws to hold up an apple. It was a tricky challenge that required teamwork and effort. Great way to stretch their brains and promote problem-solving skills! 🧠💗

From our AWESOME Parent Teacher Organization: please join us tomorrow for a sweet treat that not only tastes great, each purchase helps fund opportunities for our students! Stop by County Cones anytime from 5-8pm on Wednesday September 9. See you then!

Sometimes recess includes a little entomology lesson! 🦋 🐛 This monarch must have recently emerged from its chrysalis. As our art teacher Ms. Colette Salem explained to students, it was waiting for its wings to fully dry before moving on to the next landing spot. Our Frazer staff and students are always ready for life’s teachable moments.

First day YAY!! 🦅🦅🦅 It has been so much fun to welcome back our Frazer 1st-4th grade eagles. Kindergarten… get ready for your turn next week!

Last day of school picnic in the courtyard.

Ms. Prather's first graders have been pen pals with her niece's first grade class in Waterloo all year. Today they finally met on the big screen! Students asked each other questions about the other school and got to finally put a face to their pen pal's name. We even exchanged gifts of inspirational bracelets and stickers. What a great way to spread kindness through the writing process! ✏️🥰
