Stark County Jr. Fair Poultry

There are a LOT of incomplete project books. As a reminder, if your project book is not complete, you cannot show. If you do not show, you cannot sell. The project book is an important part of the project!

We will have the project books at check in on Sunday before the fair, for you to pick up. If yours is incomplete, you will need to complete it, and bring it back Monday night. If we do not receive your completed book back, you will not be permitted to show.

Parents, if you have questions on books, you can reach out. We are all here to help. Please double check your kids books before they turn them in.

Exhibition Duck kids!! Good news!! A generous donor has stepped up to donate cups for feed and water. You will not have to provide your own this year. Thanks!

We have a developing embryo!

Thank you HalleluYah Homestead for your very generous donation of hatching eggs! We will be hatching these eggs, to display the chicks in the barn, at the fair! Stay posted to follow the development!

Attention all poultry exhibitors and Cloverbuds! Please review the important upcoming requirements below:

📚 Project Book Turn-In
All poultry project books must be submitted by the required deadline. Be sure your book is complete and ready for review!

🧪 Pullorum Testing (REQUIRED)
All exhibition birds AND Cloverbud birds must be pullorum tested prior to the fair.
✔️ No exceptions

✔️ Birds need to be CLEAN

✔️$2 per bird testing fee

🎯 Make-Up Skill-A-Thon

👉 This must be completed to remain eligible to show

The Poultry Committee has a work day scheduled THIS Sunday, and we could use your help! We are setting up the turkey barn, and finishing the chicken barn and are short on people. If you, or someone you know, could possibly lend a hand, or two, we would greatly appreciate it! Sunday, August 2, at 2 PM. Thank you!
