BIGGER TIRES CHANGE MORE THAN JUST THE LOOKS.
One of the biggest misconceptions in the side-by-side world is that you can just bolt on bigger tires and go. That’s not how it works.
Most machines leave the factory with around 27-inch tires.
Jump to 32s? You’ve changed your final drive ratio by roughly 18.5%.
Jump to 35s? Now you’re looking at almost a 30% change (29.6%).
“That doesn’t sound like much.”
Trust me… it is.
You’re asking your engine, clutch, and belt to do nearly 30% more work every single time you hit the throttle.
Do clutch kits help?
Absolutely.
A properly tuned clutch kit is one of the best upgrades you can make. It helps get the RPM back where the engine makes power, improves belt grip, and makes the machine much more enjoyable to drive.
Does a clutch kit replace gear reduction?
No.
A clutch kit cannot change your final drive ratio.
If you’re running 35s—or even heavy 32s—and riding hard, towing, climbing, or crawling, you need gear reduction. Whether that’s transmission gears or portals, you’re asking the drivetrain to do something it wasn’t geared to do from the factory.
This is where the driver has to understand the machine.
With bigger tires:
Low gear becomes your best friend. It’s already a reduction.
❌ High gear? It’s almost useless with 32s in many situations… and with 35s it’s practically useless unless you’re already moving on flat ground.
If you’re trying to crawl hills, mud, rocks, or accelerate hard in high gear with oversized tires, don’t be surprised when the CVT starts complaining.
Can you get away with 32s?
Absolutely.
With a good clutch kit and someone who understands when to use low gear, you’ll probably be very happy.
Running stock clutching with oversized tires?
🤣 You’re asking for belt slip, excessive heat, and premature clutch wear.
People joke, “You’re just the clutch guy trying to sell clutch kits.”
Maybe…
But I’d much rather sell you a clutch kit today than sell you a clutch, belt, housing, cover, engine case, and everything else that gets destroyed when a clutch comes apart tomorrow.
A failed clutch isn’t always just an expensive repair. I’ve seen failures damage plastics, suspension components, engine cases, and in rare situations, send parts flying that could hurt someone nearby.
Drive responsibly. Clutch your machine correctly. Use low gear when you should. And understand that bigger tires require bigger changes than most people realize.
Your machine—and your wallet—will thank you.
I hate to break it to you but if you can’t afford these things
Clutch kit
Portals / gear reduction
Than you can’t afford the aftermath effects of big tires
You better stick with tires that we recommend sticking with and you still need a clutch kit
Stop driving everywhere in high range that’s not what it’s there for.
Stop treating your side by side like it’s a car ITS NOT A CAR.
STOP CALLING IT A CAR. ITS A
Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV)
STOP trying to lower the cruise RPMs the engines aren’t designed to be treated like a car. They need higher RPMs to perform the way they should.
Lowering the rpms will reduce the life of the engine.
But what do I know. Idk
Stop breeding please. The world is dumb enough. I have an idea let’s bring more kids in to the world that we can teach nothing and make sure they follow the book and be a little slave to society 😩
Our solar project has finally officially begun

Working on my solar array today. I have 8 panels to install 12 in total these were the easiest holes I’ve ever dug in my life. The Takeuchi made quick effortless work of it.

😂 Well… it ain’t pretty, but it’ll sure tell me if it works! 🤣
Today’s project was all about getting the new RNG property even smarter.
We finished networking the new shop.
Expanded Wi-Fi across more of the property.
Installed cameras EVERYWHERE. 👀
Continued testing the off-grid solar system.
Now… let’s talk about this masterpiece. 🤣👇
This is what happens when you’re in testing mode and function matters a whole lot more than looks.
Some of y’all are gonna scroll by and say…
“What in the Walmart parking lot, redneck engineering is THIS?!” 😂😂
And you’d be absolutely right.
But here’s the thing… I don’t care what it looks like during testing. I care that it works. If I can find a problem now, I fix it now instead of after everything is permanently installed.
Every project starts out looking a little rough before it turns into something awesome. That’s just part of building.
The permanent setup will be clean, organized, and built the way it should be. Until then… this Frankenstein setup is collecting data and doing exactly what I need it to do. 😎
Sometimes you’ve gotta embrace a little redneck engineering to build something great.
Who else has built something that looked completely ridiculous at first but turned out awesome in the end? 😂👇 Let’s see your “don’t judge me, it’s still in testing” photos!
Thanks Oxm Prints for all the help this weekend brother.

I finally got my hands on one… and nope, you can’t buy it in the U.S. yet. 😎
I had to do a little digging behind the scenes to get my hands on what is being called the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, and after playing with it for a bit… all I can say is WOW.
This thing is absolutely insane.
From what I’ve seen so far:
3-axis mechanical gimbal for buttery-smooth footage
Large 1-inch CMOS sensor for incredible low-light performance
Fast autofocus that locks on and stays locked
Built-in subject tracking that follows you automatically
Shoots up to 4K at high frame rates for smooth slow motion
Tiny enough to fit in your pocket but produces footage that looks like it came from a much larger camera.
As someone who films a ton of shop videos, installs, trail rides, and product testing, I have a feeling this camera is about to become my new favorite piece of gear. The stabilization alone is absolutely unreal.
Now I need your opinion…
