Some of us have been blessed with community our entire lives. We have family, lifelong friendships, and people we know we can count on. But when you’ve always had something, it can be easy to forget what it feels like not to have it.

This past Sunday, we looked at a simple challenge from Hebrews 13: “Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters… Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers.”

Living Life Together means more than being friendly. It means making room for others in the life we’re already living. There are people all around us searching for the kind of community many of us have been blessed to inherit.

And this Sunday night is a perfect opportunity to put it into practice at our 5th Annual Fall Festival! Invite a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member to come with you. And when you get here, don’t just spend the evening with the people you already know—look for someone you don’t know and make room for them.

Invite someone. Meet someone. Pull up another chair.
