Death Cafe meets Tuesday, June 16 from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Small Meeting Room.

This is a safe, supportive, and informal gathering where people can talk openly about death, dying, and grief. Participants are invited to share thoughts, ask questions, and connect with others in the community while enjoying light refreshments such as cake and drinks.

Come as you are and take part at your own comfort level. Facilitated by Isaiah Troche, End-of-Life Doula and volunteer with Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.

Fredricksen Writes meets Monday, June 15 from 7-8:30 PM in the Small Meeting Room.

Writers of all experience levels are invited to join this supportive critique group focused on helping participants grow in their craft through feedback, discussion, and encouragement.

The group is best suited for memoirs, short stories, novels, and essays. Space is limited. Registration required.

Elementary STEAM Drop In takes place Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM in the Kunkel Creation Station.

Stop by after school for STEAM themed play designed for ages 6 to 8. Each week features a different hands-on experience, from building in Lego Lab and creating in Design Lab to experimenting in Test Lab and engineering in Keva Lab. No registration required.

Summer Reading Kick-Off takes place Thursday, June 11 with children’s activities from 4-6 PM in the Library Courtyard and Children’s Library.

Join us for an evening of family fun as we kick off Summer Reading with yard games, dinosaur themed activities, fossil making, and more.

Stay for dinner with one of our food trucks at 5 PM and enjoy a concert on the lawn at 7 PM.

Book Keepers Book Club meets Friday, June 12 from 6:00-8:30 PM in the Community Room.

Book Keepers meets monthly to discuss the best of YA literature, with time for discussion, reflection, and related movie adaptations. Each participant receives a book to read and review.

June’s selection is One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus.

This program is for teens ages 13 to 18. Registration is required and begins one month prior to each session.

ACOTAR Book Club has its first meeting this Friday! We will discuss the first half of A Court of Thorns and Roses by sarahjmaas. This biweekly meetup will allow us to cover the ACOTAR series before the release of the next book is released in October.
