Growth Through Learning

Every scholarship changes the course of a girl's life, and her community's. Since our first cohort, Growth Through Learning has walked alongside scholars in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, covering tuition, supplies, and mentorship so girls can stay in school and graduate.

October 8th is DAF Day – a time to show the powerful impact of philanthropy through a national day of giving with donor advised funds (DAF). A DAF is a charitable savings account (like a 401k for giving) and a tool for any donor to accelerate their giving. If you have a DAF, please consider making a donation to GTL on October 8th. Your support will help fuel education for girls and young women in East Africa.

It's live.

The new Growth Through Learning website is up: growththroughlearning.org

Scholar stories in their own words, our programs across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and the full record of 2,463 high school diplomas awarded since 1998, 2,437 scholarships in the last six years, and 15 partner schools.

Go have a look, then tell us what you think.

Something special is almost here. On September 1, the new Growth Through Learning website goes live — a fresh look, scholar and alumnae stories, and a closer view of how education is changing girls' lives across East Africa.

Coming September 1. Stay tuned!
