With classmates from around the world, the MIT Sloan Fellows MBA community offers countless opportunities to share traditions and learn about one another’s cultures.

Last week, the cohort put that spirit into practice with China Night, a student-organized celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Fellows and their families gathered to enjoy mooncakes, traditional Chinese attire, performances, and a meal together.

The evening brought the festival’s themes of reunion and gratitude to life, strengthening friendships across cultures and beyond the classroom.

From autonomous sea rescue to agentic AI, MIT’s delta v Demo Day showcased how entrepreneurs across the Institute are building solutions to complex, real-world challenges.

The ventures presenting included Gander Robotics and Pixology, both founded by MIT Sloan Fellows MBA Class of 2026 alumni. Gander Robotics is developing an autonomous rescue vessel for man-overboard emergencies, while Pixology uses agentic AI to help sales teams create engaging visual materials for media rights deals.

Their work reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of the MIT SFMBA community—and the power of combining experienced leadership with MIT’s innovation ecosystem.
