The Athena Conference is coming!
When? Sunday, December 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Harvard's campus at the Student Organization Center at Hilles (SOCH).
What/Who? The Athena Conference is a biannual conference hosted by Harvard undergraduates and mentees in the program to promote gender awareness issues among high school teens. The conference consists of workshops, speakers, and discussion groups, all of which are entirely free! (We provide breakfast and lunch). The day touches on topics ranging from college access to gender in the media to spoken word poetry.
Our theme "Born this Way?" will explore intersections of identity. Our workshops and keynote speaker will continue the thread of this topic!
