China, ca. 1920s or 1930s. An unusual settee in what is often referred to as the Shanghai Deco style. Features sturdy hongmu rosewod construction with lyrical curved back and arms. Delicately carved vertical supports feature a stylized geometric pattern with floral elements. Three wide supports are each inset with white hard stone - a traditional detail in Chinese furniture. Cabriole legs enhance the overall sinuous feel.
Perfect for a hallway, foyer, landing, or even at the foot of one’s bed.
Sensitively refurbished, the condition is excellent - with a rich dark finish to the wood. Brand new eversible seat cushion is upholstered in a soft ivory Belgian linen.

Denmark, ca. 1970s. A versatile and well made dining table by Dyrlund. Features teak construction with a generous boat-shaped top supported by a sturdy double pedestal base. Dramatic graining and bull nose edge with subtle rosewood joints enhance the overall design. Includes two self-storing 19.75” leaves, which easily allow for up to ten - possibly twelve - dining companions. Professionally refinished, the condition is excellent.
Dimensions: 63” long x 41.5“ wide x 28.5” high; measures 102.5” long when both 19.75’” leaves are inserted.

Denmark, ca. 1960s. An open frame lounge chair in one of Ib Kofod-Larsen’s more scarce designs for Selig. Features solid walnut construction with quintessentially Kofod-Larsen flared arms supported by elegant tapered legs. Geometric design to backrest creates an interesting play of shapes making the chair even more appealing from all directions. Freshly upholstered in a neutral light gray / beige wool from Maharam with contrasting dark yellow welting to add interest. A comfortable and versatile piece perfect for rounding out a seating group - or holding the corner of a bedroom. Professionally refinished, the condition is excellent. Enamel Selig medallion to frame.

Tortoiseshell Bamboo & Rattan Wardrobe
USA, ca. 1970s. An impressive linen press or wardrobe with great British Colonial look. Features wood construction with scorched or tortoiseshell bamboo trim and geometric detailing. Fully covered in woven rattan, which adds tremendous texture and visual interest. Large cabinet doors open to reveal generous space perfect for storing bedding, linens, extra pillows, etc. Two wide lower drawers add even more capacity. Lightly refurbished with a crisp, clean look, the piece is in excellent vintage condition.

USA, ca. 1950s. A Model 4710 console from George Nelson’s Basic Cabinet Series for Herman Miller. Features sturdy walnut construction with two adjustable shelves, subtle beveled edge, and attractive graining. Cabinet door opens to reveal generous storage space for glassware, liquor bottles, etc. - while the open portion is ideal for books, ceramics, or display. Supported by tubular polished steel legs with adjustable feet. Versatile scale makes this piece great for a hallway, beneath a row of windows, or even floating behind a sofa. Lightly refurbished and in excellent vintage condition.

USA, ca. 1970s. An attractive pair of free-standing wall units by Cambridge, MA furniture maker Charles Webb. Each features sturdy white oak construction with an upper portion of four adjustable shelves. One unit includes a lower cabinet - also with an adjustable shelf - while the other unit has three generous drawers. Doors and drawers finished with Webb’s signature minimalist pulls. Perfect for organizing books or media components, these units are great for achieving the look of a carefully crafted built-in at a fraction of the price. Italy, ca. 1970s or 1980s. A stylish cane and bamboo chest or sideboard by Italian designer Flam Sansoni for manufacturer Dal Vera. Featuring natural bamboo trim and woven cane panelling with blond wood interior. Includes four ample drawers and a large cabinet with an easily adjustable shelf. Recessed brass campaign pulls add visual interest to clean modernist lines and tonal materials. An exceptionally versatile piece - it would serve nicely as either a sideboard, a hallway console or even a dresser. Professionally refurbished and in excellent vintage condition, retaining warm age-appropriate patina.
Founded in the Veneto region of Italy in 1884, for nearly a century Dal Vera was known for producing extensive collections of finely crafted living and dining room furniture. During the peak of mid-century Italian modernism, Flam Sansoni served as principal designer for most of Dal Vera’s output throughout the 1950s to 1970s. Sansoni was integral in developing the company’s post-War aesthetic and characteristic use of materials, in the Bohemian Riviera style.

USA, ca. 1920s or 1930s. A lovely Arts & Crafts wrought iron and tile coffee table or plant stand. Features a sturdy, hand-forged iron frame with scrolling ornamentation and pad feet - finished in old black paint. The top is inset with decorative, hand-glazed earthenware tiles - each with an attractive floral motif. In excellent antique condition with appealing, age-appropriate wear.
Quite a charming piece - it would be fantastic in a living room, sunroom, or on a covered porch.
