Here are a few photos from this weekend's Special Olympics Massachusetts and the 2026 Cruiser Convoy.
One of the highlights was Officer Barrett having the opportunity to present her cousin with a ribbon after her event. A very proud family moment.
Over the weekend, we attended the Special Olympics and cheered on some incredible athletes.
For one of our officers, the event was especially meaningful. Her family member competed in the swim division, and she had the privilege of presenting her with a ribbon. Congratulations to all the athletes!

Today marks the anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944, during World War II.
We remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served and honor the legacy they left behind.

When people think about police equipment, they often think of radios, badges, & handcuffs.
During National CPR & AED Awareness Week, we wanted to highlight another important tool. MIT Police cruisers carry medical bags equipped with AEDs & other emergency medical supplies, allowing our officers to begin providing care when it's needed.
