Callicoon Fire Department

Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 3:19 PM Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, was automatically dispatched with Hortonville Fire Department, Station 10, for a deck fire at one of the Villa Roma Timeshare units. On arrival 10-2 had units respond at a reduced rate due to maintenance putting out the fire. Other agencies responding were Jeffersonville Fire Department, Station 12, Upper Delaware Ambulance, 53-1, and the Sullivan County Fire Investigators.
Later that evening at 10:54 PM Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident along with Upper Delaware Ambulance. Hortonville Fire Department was dispatched to shut down 17B by County Road 121. Also on scene were the NY State Police, and Dick's Auto for removal of the vehicles.

Tuesday, May 26, 2026 Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, had a drill on drafting operations and nozzle operations.

May 25, 2026, Memorial Day Parade. Thanks to all who served and those that continue to serve.

Today, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 12:07 PM Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, along with Hortonville, Station 10, was dispatched to assist Hankins Fire Department, Station 68, with a brush fire. Other departments on scene were North Branch, Callicoon Center, Roscoe, Roscoe EMS, and BC-6. Lake Huntington Fire Department was on standby for cover assignment.

Yesterday May 3, 2026, members of Callicoon Fire Department along with our ladder 63-41 attended The Sullivan County Volunteer Fire Fighters Association annual memorial services at the Sullivan County Government Center. Ladder 63-41 held the flag along with Monticello's ladder 22-41.

Sometimes you have to have the 89 Sutphen engine move up as 1st due out while the newer engine goes out for service and repairs.

Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 3:13 PM Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63 and Hortonville Fire Department, Station 10, were dispatched to a brush fire. The fire was knocked down quickly and units returned to service 1 hour later.
