For Callicoon Artwalk today (!!!) we have at Wool Worth, Color a Fish and beautiful watercolor originals and prints with Flick Ford, an artist based on the Delaware and Hudson rivers. He paints portraits of actual fish caught in these rivers and the chance to see his work in person is not a be missed! Bring the littles to do some coloring and enjoy all of the art, 12-6!

ArtWalk is always one of my favorite events of the year. Cara Enteles has been displayed at Wool Worth since the beginning but this year I have way more space for her and the display is so great! We finished the install this afternoon and can’t wait for you to see it (and Cara in person) tomorrow, Saturday, 12-6.

Prepping with Cara Enteles — it’s going to be a beautiful day!
I always love it when we get a shipment of cute, fun new goodies! Stitch markers, scissors, and pouches (floral ones in addition to these great wool larger ones) all just in time for knitting season. And to the gift-givers, it’s never too early to start thinking about gifty season!

Wow! I just restocked the ever-wonderful Subversive Cross Stitch Kits kits and they look so good all together! I didn’t really realize how many designs were missing. What a beautiful morning at . We especially enjoyed the sheep dog demo but there was also plenty of great yarn, puzzling over tools, and food. And now I’m back at the shop, feeling inspired. Drop on by for a chat about fall knitting plans!
*for those who may be concerned — the dog barking in this video is not the dog working with the sheep. That whole process was very gentle.

The shop will be opening at 1:00 on Saturday (9/12) so I can visit some friends at Endless Mountain Fiber Fest. I can’t wait to tell you about the fun new things I know I’ll find for the shop! In the meantime, regular hours on Friday (12-4) and Sunday (11-3). Plus Callicoon Crafters 5-7 on Friday!

It is so much fun to be part of the , a 92-year tradition in . And of course I had to knit a white top to wear for our performances, since I am quite short on white clothing. in to the rescue! Even though the band is finished performing for this summer season, I am going to enjoy having this cardigan every summer.
