Our mercantile at Black Walnut houses our exclusive homewares collection, inspired by antique forms, early 19th-century design, and the enduring rituals of daily life — setting the table, lighting candles at dusk, gathering for a shared meal. Each piece is designed by us and thoughtfully crafted by one of our favorite artisans.
Our first annual Ramp Fest was a beautiful success. It was such a joy to see our little town of Callicoon bustling with neighbors, friends, and visitors from near and far—all gathered to celebrate the arrival of spring in the Sullivan Catskills.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported our local businesses, and spent the day learning, shopping, eating, listening, and celebrating alongside us. And a heartfelt thank you to all of our shopkeepers, educators, makers, bakers, musicians, volunteers, and community partners. We truly couldn’t have brought Ramp Fest to life without you.
Here’s to the first of many. 🌱

Cooking from the landscape.
Garlic mustard, often overlooked as a w**d and showing up uninvited each spring, becomes something entirely different in this early spring pesto—fresh, punchy, and deeply seasonal. How we cook in the Catskills at The Farmhouse Project.
