Before Memorial Day arrives, I hope we all pause for a moment.
Not just for the parades, cookouts, or sales… but for the names etched into memorials, the folded flags, the empty seats at family tables, and the sacrifices that made our freedoms possible.
Today, I’m honored to share that St. Mary's County Times Newspaper published an article I wrote reflecting on the true meaning of Memorial Day through the lens of both community and military service.
As a veteran, this message is deeply personal to me.
I hope it encourages someone to remember a little deeper this year.
