One year ago we stepped into what seemed like a real life Hallmark movie with a mid-century twist, and had the pleasure of helping Amberlee get ready for her vintage inspired winter wedding! It was such a cozy and intimate setup - this beautiful bride included so many personal details to her day, even catering some of the food herself!! Happy Anniversary to Amberlee and Alex!! 🤍

Statement 1 🤍 I have said this before… I’m just NOT good at social media!! I give so much credit to those who find the time to make content daily, even weekly! I struggle to sit down and make reels or put together photos because it’s overwhelming for me. Believe it or not, I have never even hopped on the TikTok train to show how much this is not my thing 🙈 Plus I also have a toddler hanging on me most of the day, so any time I get uninterrupted, is focused on more important things like replying to emails, writing up contracts or scheduling phone calls with all you beautiful clients!

Statement 2 🤍 Sometimes the photos and videos are just not it! It’s so disappointing when you know you did fabulous work on a client and you go to look at the pictures you took later to realize - lighting was poor, blurry/unfocused, a hair is awkwardly out of place, a shadow falling on the makeup look. I get that this may be the perfectionist in me, but if I’m not happy with the way something looks, I won’t post it! I pride myself in ZERO EDITS/PHOTOSHOP on any content I share. I refuse to alter my work and falsely advertise just for the likes. I would rather patiently wait for your professional photos to be passed along and share those! 😉

Statement 3 🤍 PLEASE TELL ME YOU KNEW THIS WAS THE LIE!!! 🤣 I have seen other artists post about this. That their client felt they didn’t think they weren’t important enough to post. This is so sad to me! I would be devastated if I knew any of our clients felt this way. I truly appreciate and love every client that has allowed us to be a part of their wedding journey and trust us to make them feel like the most elevated version of themselves on the big day! I hope to one day improve with sharing more (or maybe hire someone to do it for me! 😝) but let’s face it, word of mouth and trusted referrals will never go out of style!!

MERMAID VIBES ✨🧜🏻‍♀️ This bridesmaid wanted to accentuate her natural hair, so she air-dried and we used the Chi Lava tapered curling wand to elevate her natural curl pattern!

We had the honor of glamming Danielle for her intimate church ceremony! 💒 She chose to get ready in her grandmother’s home with her closest ladies (peep Grandma proudly glowing in the background!) How amazing did the extensions match her natural hair?! And that lip to match her wildflower bouquet?! 💐 We are obsessed! 🤩
