• PIPE LAYER•

Duties include but are not limited to working with a pipe crew installing storm drain, sewer, and water on commercial and residential sites. Experience preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 30 hour guarantee, yearly boot allowance, and paid ride time to jobsite in a company truck just to name a few.

Starting pay range $16.00-$18.00 per hour with overtime anything over 40 Hours.

In just a few minutes it’s gone! Starting the new Take 5 Oil Change in Calhoun with some demolition. Grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and water line to follow.

Construction Equipment Operator

The Construction Equipment Operator position will be primarily responsible for operating construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and other construction equipment required to construct commercial site, storm drain, sanitary sewer, water line, and/or roadway type projects.

The ideal Construction Equipment Operator candidate would have 3 to 5 years experience in operating one or more pieces of the equipment noted. Applicant should be familiar with construction techniques & methods, have ability to read and understand grade stakes, be willing to perform various job functions as required, perform daily equipment maintenance, and follow directions provided by direct supervisor.

Forklift or lift truck experience should not be considered as experience in operating construction equipment.

We are willing to, and do, train individuals that have less than the required experience provided they show the desire to learn and can handle other related responsibilities.

Close to home this week on two different projects. We performed a storm drain repair at Fairmount, GA landmark K-C’s Corner. 1960’s era storm drain had rusted out and caused a sinkhole near the entrance. We replaced the old CMP with HDPE and repaired the parking lot.
