The Friends of the Library are hosting a silent auction and they need art donations!
They are looking for book or poem related art of any physical form (paint, sketch, yarn craft, sculpt, etc.). All proceeds raised through the silent auction will come back to benefit the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library. 🎨🖼️

Submissions due:
September 4 @ 6 pm

Silent Auction:
September 11 @ 4 - 6 pm

Thank you to wildlife photographer and author Lisa Martin for joining us in reading her newest book, Saving the Wild Mustangs, about America's beautiful Wild Mustangs. Kids were given the opportunity to write letters to their state representatives on behalf of these majestic creatures and received copies of the book, a wildlife warrior certificate, and 3D printed mustang. 🐴📸

Gracias a la fotógrafa de vida silvestre y autora Lisa Martin por acompañarnos en la lectura de su último libro, «Saving the Wild Mustangs», sobre los hermosos mustangs salvajes de Estados Unidos. Calling ALL Crafters! Friends of the Library will be having a fundraiser Friday, September 11 (4PM-6 PM) and Saturday, September 12 (10 AM-1 PM). Interpret a poem or story of your choice using any art form. Crochet, draw, paint, sculpt, build, etc. All proceeds will benefit the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.

All projects should be dropped off to the library by 6 PM on September 4.

You can register online by scanning the code. We look forward to seeing all your projects!
