50 Mile 50k 26 The Sean O'Brien 50M/50k/26M was created after the original Ray Miller course had suffered a devastating fire in early May.
The area was badly burned, and in my opinion needed time to heal. I was inspired to still bring a solid, competitive, and tough 50 mile/50k race to southern California in early winter. I also had a deep desire to still have this sort of race in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. The result was the creation of one of the most epic race courses to date on the West Coast. Hi friends! We are officially sold out, and just opened the waitlist. I do recommend if you want in the race to sign up for that waitlist before that also fills. Both Ray Miller, and SAMO Trail Runs waitlists filled fast. I wish I could let everyone in! It breaks my heart to answer the emails, and have to turn runners away. Get on the waitlist if you can.

Registration opens tomorrow at 6am on UltraSignup for the 2023 race!! This race will sell out. Race date is set for Saturday Jan 28th. Distances being offered are 100k, 50 mile, 50k, Marathon, and 30k. The 100k is a WS100 2024 qualifier. All distances will be on the same day so this race will fill fast! KH Races

We are excited to announce the 2023 date for the ~ Saturday January 28th, 2023.
We will combine all distances back together on the same day as to not over impact the park. Distances being offered are 100k, 50 mile, 50k, Marathon, and 30k.
Registration will open October 1st, 2022 @ 6am on . The 100k will be a 2024 qualifier. We cannot wait to see you all in Late January!
