We’re getting excited to welcome Dr. Bouffiou to Butte Vet Center 🐾

As we prepare for his arrival, we’re incredibly grateful to continue growing alongside this community and expanding our ability to care for the pets of Butte and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Bouffiou officially begins seeing patients June 15th, and we can’t wait for our clients (and patients!) to meet him.

🕷️🐾 Tick season is here — and prevention is more important than ever. 🐾🕷️

Ticks are more than just a nuisance. These tiny pests can carry diseases that may affect both pets and people, and we start seeing them much more this time of year.

Because ticks can be easy to miss in your pet’s fur, prevention is the best defense.

Signs of tick-related illness can include:
• Lethargy
• Fever
• Loss of appetite
• Limping or joint pain

Keeping your pet on a reliable flea and tick preventive helps protect them so they can safely enjoy all the outdoor adventures that come with warmer weather. ☀️🐶🐱

With warmer weather, many pets are joining their families for hiking, camping, road trips, and outdoor adventures. While everyone hopes for smooth travels, it’s always smart to be prepared for emergencies.

A few things we recommend keeping in a pet emergency kit:

✔️ Extra food & water
✔️ Medications
✔️ Leash/harness
✔️ Copy of vaccine records
✔️ Bandage material/basic first aid items
✔️ Emergency contact numbers
✔️ A recent photo of your pet

A little preparation can make a huge difference if an emergency happens away from home.

Please help us welcome Dr. Jesse Bouffiou to Butte Vet Center! 🐾

Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, Dr. Bouffiou made Montana home in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the people, agriculture, and way of life here. After earning his veterinary degree from Washington State University, he is excited to begin serving pets and families in the Butte community.

Dr. Bouffiou is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and providing thoughtful, individualized care for every patient. He also has a special interest in surgery.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, hunting, woodworking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their two dogs.

We are excited to officially welcome Dr. Bouffiou to our team starting June 15th and can’t wait for you to meet him! 🐾
