These incredible students came to volunteer with us during the Week of Compassion helped sort donations from our Kick the Can food and shoe drive and organized the basement of our new Center of Hope building. Their hard work, positive attitudes, and servant hearts made a real difference.

Thank you, The Refuge Youth Group, for investing your time and energy into serving our community and helping us bring hope to those in need.

Join us tomorrow for a fun evening of fellowship as we wrap up an incredible week of serving our community. We’ll be enjoying a barbecue and ice cream social, followed by yard games and time together.

This week, we are looking for a mix of creative inspiration and practical protection for the participants at the Butte Rescue Mission.

Vision Board Materials: Our Empowerment Class is hosting a vision board workshop. For individuals in recovery or facing tough times, visualizing a brighter future is key to breaking old cycles and focusing on God's plans. Scripture reminds us of the power of writing down where we are going: "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." Habakkuk 2:2

We need: Magazines, scrapbooking supplies, tape, and stickers etc.... all the things that we can help encourage the vision for their future!

I guess today is also World Bicycle Day which is a crazy coincidence that brings us to the next item on our list...
Bike Locks: Bicycles can be a primary lifeline and transportation method for a lot of the people we serve. A stolen bike can really derail someone's progress. We want to help our participants protect their property and maintain their independence. As well as the bikes that belong to the kids in our program.
