Engineers Without Borders, Montana Tech Student Chapter has undertaken a road construction project outside of El Espino, El Salvador. El Espino is a small village of about 2000 located 50 miles outside of San Salvador. We estimate that within about two years the erosion will render the road impassable. This would isolate the community and would make it very difficult for local children to attend school.
