The Butte Community Concert Association brings performing arts to Butte Montana and the MotherLode Theater as a Nonprofit Organization
Upcoming Concert Wednesday, May 13 by The Piatigorsky Foundation at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 1621 Thornton Ave. Butte, MT 597016:30 PM (with cookie social to follow).
The Piatigorsky Foundation is returning to Butte on their tour and will feature tenor Kelly Burns and piano accompanist Nicholas Shaneyfelt at AUMC.
Nicholas Shaneyfelt is Associate Professor of Music in Collaborative Piano at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, Dr. Shaneyfelt serves as associate director of the International Music Festival of the Adriatic, a summer festival for instrumentalists, singers, and composers in Duino, Italy. He was also a music director at Belvoir Terrace in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
Kelly W. Burns is an active performer of opera, musical theater, recital and concert works throughout North America in vocal repertoire spanning over 400 years. He has sung with opera companies and orchestras such as the Chautauqua Opera, Opera Roanoke, Memphis Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Little Orchestra Society of New York, the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Chamber Opera, Opera Project Columbus, and the Oxford Shakespeare Festival.
This Wednesday April 15th, 2026 Live From Laurel Canyon will conclude the Butte Community Concert Associations season of concerts. Live From Laurel Canyon presents an endearing evening of live music and narrated stories of some of the most influential songwriters who lived in Laurel Canyon, California in the mid ‘60s and ‘70s. They celebrate the music of The Mamas & The Papas, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, and America. Their fresh versions of iconic songs, coupled with the stories which inspired the artists and the music, create an insightful, beautiful, humorous and memorable evening.
Enjoy Thursday Evening March 19th at the Mother Lode Theater with The French Family Band.
Everyone will enjoy the music of the She Gees at the Motherlode Theater Feb.22nd 7pm.
November 9th, 2025 7pm at the Motherlode Theater the Barricade Boys come to entertain with an evening of musical theater brought to you by the Butte Community Concert Association.
