Just a reminder that we'll be having a painting party at the Jackson Street house this weekend! 10-4, Saturday and Sunday. We will be taping window and door openings, painting the interior walls, and painting the ornate front porch. Stay as long or as little as you can!

Helpful items to bring would be paint brushes, rollers and roller pans, step ladders, gloves.

We'll also probably be doing some yard cleanup/landscape work, if that's more your speed

Two Important Architectural Elements Added to Jackson Street Project!

A custom leaded glass cottage window has been created and installed, bringing with it a touch of historic elegance. It is believed a decorative glass window originally existed in this opening and we are happy to have one back in place. The leaded glass panels were donated by Historic Butte Homes - Jason Silvernale.

Additionally, a reclaimed and historically correct front door has been stripped, refinished, and installed. This piece of architectural salvage was found at the ReStore of Southwest Montana and will greet guests and stewards to the home for another hundred years!

Butte Historic Trust and its projects are made possible by generous contributions from The 1772 Foundation, Inc., Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority, Butte Citizens for Preservation and Revitalization, & The Montana Cultural Trust.
