Join us in the Copper Lounge, March 6th from 5-7pm as we welcome Rachel Piazza and Femisit Self Defense! You might be asking ”what is Feminist Self Defense?” This is self defense like no other! Learn through interactive discussion, role-play, boundary setting and hands-on physical defense techniques. Learn body language, the “danger zone” of violent encounters and how to stay out of that area. Recognize and interrupt boundary violations and communicate those boundaries. Summertime is fun time and can also be stressful if you are working, going to summer school or just need the help with kiddos. The Butte 4-C's has a great scholarship program for parents of Elementary age children. There is help!

Applications for Summer Scholarships open this Friday.

The scholarship helps families pay for care for school-age kids during the summer months.

families can be using any type of “summer care”. This could be a nanny, summer camp, family member, child care etc.

Families will have to provide documentation of care. Examples would be an enrollment form or a written letter from a babysitter or family member.
