Office Hours

As summer ramps up, I'd like to formally go over my office hours.

I am available via email, text, and phone calls Monday through Friday. Anything sent after 4pm on Friday, will be answered on Monday. I've always done my best to respond to texts and emails when I can over the weekend, but it seems that it's now become expected that I will respond over the weekend. As a result, I've been feeling burnt out and some of my clients have been feeling frustrated over my lack of response over the weekend.

To make sure I'm giving you all my best 100% of the time, I need to start enforcing firmer boundaries. It's so easy to give too much and then become burnt out. I want to make sure I take the time I need for myself, while also being as present as possible for you during the week. Fridays at 4pm I'll be silencing my notifications to emails and texts/calls. You can absolutely still reach out, but I won't be reading your messages or responding until Monday.

This weekend is Memorial weekend so I'll be out of the office Saturday through Monday. I'll make sure to respond to any messages sent after 4pm on Friday the following Tuesday.

Now that everything is finalized, we can announce what's happening to the training facility.

The facility is officially being taken over by the owner of Aquatherapups, and will be used as a dog rental space called Zoila's Zone! Not only can trainers rent the space to use with clients, but clients can also rent the space to train their dogs or let them run around and play.

I am officially off the lease starting June 1st, but will continue to offer private lessons there. Starting July 1st, lessons will only be offered at the facility on Thursdays, from 1pm-7:30pm. In home private lessons will be offered on Tuesday afternoons/evenings and Wednesday evenings.

Ginny and Pink had a great day of disc competition! Ginny left with three 1st place ribbons and Pink left with three 2nd place ribbons.

As a reminder, I am out of the office on the weekends. This is my time to get adult things done as well as enjoy uninterrupted time with my dogs. Emails and texts will be responded to on Monday.

NEW TRAINING OPPORTUNITY!

My new puppy (Mazikeen) is coming home in a few days, and I'm offering an inside look into how I train my dogs! I won't be getting another puppy for quite awhile, so this is your one chance!

We'll be working on:
* Obedience behaviors
* Integrating her into my house with my other dogs
* Socialization (the correct way)
* Tricks
* Off leash behaviors and recall
* Focus in public (ignoring other dogs and people)
* Sports foundations
* Husbandry care (grooming and vet behaviors)

* Chewing on your things

Training videos will be posted to a private page. Cost to join is $100, but I'll be posting all her training videos through the end of the year! That's 8 months of training videos! This is cheaper than group classes and one on one lessons, but you'll get all the same information (plus more!).
