Weekend wrap up at TLC! Thank you to Diane, our Spiritual Director, for leading us in worship this weekend! Between the beautiful sunlight and finger lights, Sunday morning was extra bright ✨

In Sunday School, our middle kiddos explored what love looks like through the story of the Good Samaritan — talking about kindness, helping others, and having some fun with crafts and cookie decorating. Older students focused on the Great Commandment: loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and loving your neighbor as yourself.

Our littlest learners talked about the storm and how Jesus brings peace — reminding us that He is always there to say, “Peace, be still.” We also learned about the sower and how we are called to spread God’s word, trusting that many seeds will land in good soil. To celebrate, we planted flowers and are hoping to see them grow! 🌱

TLC Weekend Wrap-Up! ✨ This weekend we were blessed to welcome the SWPA Lutheran Synod’s Director for Evangelical Mission lead worship — it was a meaningful way to celebrate the season of Epiphany together.

In Sunday School, our Littles explored Jesus’ teaching about building a house on rock, not sand. 🏠 They played “rock or sand,” built houses strong enough to withstand a storm, drew their own solid houses and took home rocks as a reminder to build their faith on Christ’s solid foundation. Songs and hymns helped reinforce the message.

Meanwhile, adults gathered for the first 3Cs: Confections, Coffee & Conversation, hosted by our Fellowship Ministry. It was a sweet and simple way to connect before worship. Mark your calendar for March 1 at 9:00 am for the next 3Cs.

During the Children’s Message, kids and adults learned a song to help remember Micah 6:8, reminding all of us how to live with justice, kindness and humility.
