Did you know every August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD)?
Overdose affects every community — but it can be prevented. IOAD brings us together to remember, honor, and take action. Join us on Monday, August 31, 2026, as the Butler County Opioid Overdose Coalition hosts its 5th Annual "Butler County Remembers" Evening. The evening will begin with a ceremony to remember and honor the lives of those lost and will commence with a one-mile candlelit walk up Main Street dedicated to remembrance, awareness, and community support in Butler County.
Bring your family. Invite a friend. Let’s shine a light on overdose together.
