Just a reminder if you plan on coming into the store this Friday. Due to sidewalk construction downtown, parking on main street will be unavailable after 7:30pm. Specifically this affects our Friday Night MtG Hobbit attendees as that event will likely wrap up sometime between 9-10pm.

New cards added to the case today. Consider this just a taste, as it accounts for less than half of what we put out. If you need another excuse to drop by, now is the time to pre-register for the MtG hobbit events THIS WEEKEND.

🚧 Heads Up, Downtown Butler! 🚧

If you've noticed the temporary No Parking signs along Main Street, they're in place for PennDOT's scheduled overnight paving work taking place Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7.

Parking on Main Street will remain available as usual during the day. The temporary parking restrictions are only in effect from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM while crews complete the overnight paving work.

If you're visiting downtown during the evening hours, please plan to use the parking garage, nearby public lots, or side streets.

(Dan) We unfortunately have to announce that former manager and friend of the store Michael Rehm has passed away. Personally he was the person primarily responsible for my hire into the company. I remember well that he enlisted the power-team of myself, C-Dave, Tony, and N. Jolly to run awesome events throughout our Clearview mall days.

(Tony) Mike was a close friend, and someone who was always there when you needed anything. He cared for his family and those close to him in a way that was unmatched by pretty much anyone else I've ever met. And, his sense of humor matched mine well, so there were lots of laughs at each others expense. He will be greatly missed. We'll see you on the other side, Old Man.

Butler Eagle issued a statement today, and it includes information about the funeral. The full obituary should appear in Monday's Paper.
