’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the firm,
Not a claim file was stirring, not even a term.
The policies were stacked in the cabinets with care,
In hopes that renewals soon would be there.
The adjusters were nestled all snug at their desks,
While visions of zero deductibles danced in their heads.
With my coffee gone cold and my spreadsheet complete,
I’d just settled in for a quiet retreat.
When out on the dashboard there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter.
Away to the screen I flew like a flash,
Opened emails and systems and checked every tab.
The glow of the monitor, bright blue and white,
Gave the look of a loss report filed in the night.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a perfectly documented claim—crystal clear!
With photos and forms all uploaded just right,
I knew in a moment: this one wouldn’t be a fight.
More rapid than e-signs the approvals they came,
And I whistled and shouted and called them by name:
“Now Coverage! Now Limits! Now Liability too!
On Deductible! Premium! Endorsements for you!
To the top of the inbox! To the close of the call!
Now approve away, approve away, approve away all!”
Like risks that are mitigated before they take flight,
The process ran smoothly—no exclusions in sight.
And then in a twinkling, I heard on the floor,
The soft hum of printers—no jams anymore.
As I turned back around, feeling cheerful and bright,
Up popped a green checkmark—everything right.
The claim it was settled, the client secure,
Their coverage confirmed, their future insured.
A smile crept across me, from ear to ear,
For peace of mind is the best gift this year.
Then I logged off at last, with a sigh of delight,
And whispered…
“Happy Christmas to all—
and to all, coverage just right.” 🎄📄
