A month later and these chicks went from tiny fluff balls to full-on backyard chaos 😂🐥
They’ve got feathers now, attitudes, and absolutely zero fear. They run up like they own the place, fight over snacks like it’s a full-time job, and somehow always manage to make a mess in under 5 minutes.
Every single one has a personality—there’s the bossy one, the dramatic one, and the one that still acts like it has no idea what’s going on.
Not gonna lie… they grew way faster than I expected. But they’re a whole lot more entertaining now 😄🐥

Happy Monday from the pond 🌿💜
These beautiful blooms are Louisiana irises—one of nature’s quiet showstoppers right here in the South. Growing naturally along ponds, bayous, and wetlands, they thrive in water and sunshine, reminding us how something so delicate can also be incredibly resilient.
The Louisiana iris is also the inspiration behind the fleur-de-lis, a symbol often associated with strength, faith, and new beginnings. Fitting for a Monday, don’t you think? ✨

🐥 Peep Peep! The Alegria Ranch nursery is officially open! 🐥
Our newest little farmhands have arrived and they are already stealing hearts. These fluffy bundles of sunshine spent their first morning exploring their cozy brooder, chirping away like they have very important ranch business to discuss.
Tiny wings, tiny peeps, and BIG personalities already! One is clearly the brave explorer, another prefers snack time, and a couple are professional snugglers.
Stay tuned… I have a feeling these little peepers are going to be quite the characters.

Meet Cowboy – the ultimate ladies’ man of the pasture. While the other geldings are out chasing hay bales, Cowboy’s here hosting a brunch date with his favorite mares. Rumor has it, he’s got more charm than a salt lick and smoother moves than a freshly groomed mane. 🤠🐴

It’s me, Sky, reporting in from my favorite patch of grass. Nothing like stretching out on a sunny day and watching the world go by. I’ve got my eye on a squirrel or two, and I’m pretty sure I’m in charge of all the birds around here.

🚜🐴 Faith vs. the Tractor Showdown! 🐴🚜
So today, Faith discovered that the tractor is clearly a giant, pasture-destroying monster. Instead of her usual calm grazing, she turned into an Olympic sprinter, tail in the air like a fancy flag, making laps around the pasture like she was trying to outrun a tornado!

This week, we were delighted to welcome a special visitor. Olivier and his family spent a fun day interacting with the goats, chickens and horses! It was his first time touching the animals. Smiles alll around!
When Izzy began her riding lessons, she was understandably nervous and apprehensive, relying on someone to lead her horse. Through dedication and perseverance, she has made remarkable progress. Recently, she achieved a significant milestone by riding independently on a trail at Bogue Chitto State Park. Her confidence and skill set have grown tremendously. Well done, Izzy!
