A small security fence for a local business that we completed a while back. What needs do you have?

Two fences we finished. Board on board, cap, trim with kick board. Both these fences used custom dip stained #1 cedar. One fence we added a second piece of decorative trim. We also used custom fence braces that we make in house that are head and shoulders above any made today.

Earlier this spring we did this job for a customer. Retaining wall so we could level his yard. We placed posts in the cement wall in the back. The fence is a side by side, custom height of 7’ 6”. When we added kick board, cap and trim it came in just under 8’. An 8ft tall fence is not allowed in this HOA. 😎. Customer was very pleased!

Rainy day,so while on a break from welding up some decorative joists for an outdoor living area I figured I’d post one of our numerous jobs that we have completed.

A low profile puppy fence! The customer wanted it down scaled so it wouldn’t block the view of the pond from there porch.

1 more reason why we are different!!!!

We are one of the only companies in the area that still hand dips every board and every picket. We even know the percentage of moisture in each board. We take our pickets to about 8% and our treated to 13%. Why is that important? When you stain a dry board you gain two things that no other company can provide. The drier the picket the less shrinkage happens after install and if you are staining the picket soaks up more oil much deeper for a longer lasting stain and color.

When conditions are not favorable for drying we will “ forced air heat dry” which can give us very low moisture content down to 3-5%.

We are one of the very few companies that still custom stain our cedar to order. Today this is a is “Cumberland Brown”.

Dip staining covers every surface and penetrates further than the pre stained pickets that are on the market today.

We always use oil based stains by Ready Seal or Wood Defender for the longest lasting color possible.
