This summer I converted at least a dozen vehicles that were improperly retrofitted, back to R12 , all to great results . If you’re not running a high efficiency condenser, 134a is bad for your ac system . Mostly classic cars and trucks 👍

This radiator is off a 48 Ford with a 289 , I’ve covered this long ago but once again this is how to clean a radiator properly, you can acid dip it and flush for days but it won’t come clean unless you pull the tank off the core and push a rod thru all the tubes as the photo shows , hence the term “rod out” because you use a physical rod. All early small block Fords have a bad problem developing this blockage , the engine block builds slag and solids and also maybe some casting sand when assembled breaks loose and turns the radiator into a big filter . The last photo is the completed part of course

Big money Ron Davis radiator for a corvette with three out of the four corners leaking , I get these all the time no matter the manufacturer. Tube to header leaks , dealing with 5 thousandth” aluminum tubes to at least 20thdth” header plate with a dirty surface where it has been leaking . Mini bead blaster , hi-grade cooling system epoxy, a little time and work , it can be saved 👍
