When we saw this quote we knew it was definitely one we needed to share. A lot of people say they don’t have time to workout because they can’t make it to the gym or can’t afford a membership/personal trainer BUT you don’t need much to start. As long as you have a body and determination then you have all you need.
You’ll see us post reels for beginners or injured folks like myself. You’ll also see us post modifications from Danny’s workouts that make it doable for someone without weights or with an injury. SAVE THEM. JUST START.

Having a well-balanced snack is important. It gives you fuel to get you through your day and energy until your next meal.
One of our favorite combos is 2 rice cakes, cottage cheese and peaches.

Get up & get active on your active recovery days! 🚴🏼
This active recovery isn’t my favorite but I feel great after. Challenging myself at first was hard. The Airdyne is a huge challenge for me since it requires me to move my upper body. I have herniated discs in my thoracic that cause me to be stiff and have a lack of mobility. The best thing I can do is strengthen my back muscles to help with my injuries so I really have to push through it.

Happy Monday! Let’s get the work week started. Working out can be difficult for some people during the week. Especially if you work an 8-5…it’s important to have a plan. Make a routine and stick to it. Before you know it’ll be a habit!

Happy Sunday! Let’s get this week started! Sunday’s are for meal prepping in our house. It’s the perfect way to start the week and it makes it easier to stay on track when you know what you’re eating. I try to prep my food for the day the night before so I can hit my macros for the day. Last pic is what I’m taking for the day tomorrow.
This week I’m trying out some meatballs I found online!
•2 pounds ground beef
•12 saltine crackers
•2 large eggs
•1/4 cup onion
•green onions (optional)
•salt, pepper, garlic
Cook at 400 for 20 minutes. Flip after 10 minutes.

The hardest thing when changing the way I ate was figuring out what a balanced snack looked like.
You want to eat some protein, carbs and fats. It's the same as when you eat a meal. Your snacks should give you the energy boost you need to get you to your next meal. If they do not satisfy you, you will find yourself reaching for things that are maybe not the most nutritious for your body.
Grab some pretzels, cheese cubes or cheese sticks and an apple. Guarantee you will feel just the right amount of full for a snack.
Remember this is a great option for macros or intuitively eating.

Being big competitors at heart makes active recovery days our favorite! Especially when it involves a competition...I mean, ACTIVITY.
We really use this day to just move and have fun. It's a nice break for the body from strength training. It's also a great way to get out and make new friends.
is our favorite. It's a lot of fun playing just us two or with friends. Four people is definitely a lot easier! If you have kids this game can be fun to play with them also. Danny's Kids Camp killed it this past summer.
Have you played spikeball before?🏐
