PTO Meeting today, June 1st at 4pm. We will be meeting outside at the picnic tables in front. Childcare is provided.

Here is a quick recap of all the fun things PTO did for teachers and staff this week. We are so lucky to have dedicated, talented and kind staff educating our children. Trail mix bar, popcorn snacks, a drink bar, coffee gift cards and even a catered lunch from BJ's Deli were just some of the ways we showed our appreciation. Thank you to NES Families for participating by sending in donations, letters/pictures to teachers.

We kicked off teacher appreciation week with a trail mix bar!
Northwinds is so lucky to have so many wonderful people educating and guiding our kids.
All items for the trail mix bar were donated by NES Families. Thank you to everyone that donated, we are so grateful for our Northwinds community.

PTO Meeting today 5/4 at 4pm in the NES library.

NES Families, you should have received a communication from your child's teacher about silent auction basket items. Teachers will be accepting donations from now until Friday April 24th. If needed, donations can be turned in as late as Monday April 27th but please let teachers know if you will be bringing items in on Monday.
Bidding for the silent auction baskets will take place at our ice cream social/book fair/celebration of the arts night on April 30th. Money raised will go directly back to the students/school for student enrichment and residencies.
This year each grade level has a theme and will be accepting items within the chosen theme. Details are noted on the chart by teacher/grade level.

💙 Share Your Appreciation Parents and guardians are also welcome to send a personal note, gift, treat, email etc. to any staff member they’d like to appreciate during the week. If you’d like ideas for a specific teacher or staff member, email the PTO inbox — we’re happy to share their Favorite Things List to help inspire your appreciation!

Donation Deadline

Please send in all donations and student notes no later than Wednesday April 29th so we can prepare everything for our staff. Donations can be sent to school with your student for dropoff in the office, or dropoff at your convenience anytime between 7am and 3pm.

PTO will still take gently used book donations Monday 1/26 and Tuesday 1/27 from 7:25-7:45am each day. Students will get credits for the books they donate. They can then use their credits to find "new to you" books at the Books & Bingo event Tuesday evening, January 27 from 6-7:30pm.

Reminder: Tomorrow is the first day students can bring in clean and gently used books for credits that can be exchanged at the book swap during Books and Bingo Night.

Collection days: January 21, 22 and 23 from 7:25am to 7:45am
Books and Bingo Night is January 27th from 6 to 7:30 pm.
