🎉 Congratulations to our Dunkirk Middle High School Student of the Month, **Yainelys Medina Vega!** We are so proud of you and all that you continue to accomplish. Keep up the great work, Yainelys!

In partnership with Jamestown High School LPP Juniors and Seniors from Jamestown had an opportunity to attend the 18th annual Western New York Construction Career Days, hosted by the International Union of Operating Engineers. The event introduced students to career paths in local skilled trades. Tradespeople demonstrated crafts such as bricklaying, cement finishing, welding, plumbing, electrical installation, material testing, pipe laying, and heavy equipment operation. Students especially enjoyed the hands-on experience, which sparked excitement and plenty of questions. Liberty Partnerships Program - NYSED

Last night, our Jamestown Liberty Partnerships Program students and their families came together for our Back-to-School Ice Cream Social!

We loved seeing so many of our LPP families enjoying ice cream and catching up with one another! It was the perfect way to kick off another year of LPP! A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us!

And, of course, a special THANK YOU to CUPS & CONES for bringing the sweet treats and helping make our night so much fun!🍦

We’re looking forward to an amazing year with our LPP students and families!💚

🍪 Applications are always better with snacks! 🍪

The Salamanca Student Support Center hosted Apps & Snacks, giving our seniors a chance to start tackling college applications in a fun and supportive environment. 11 of our LPP students showed up, enjoyed some delicious snacks, and got to work planning their next steps!

I was grateful to be there to lend a hand, answer questions, and support students as they begin this exciting chapter.

🎓 One application at a time, one snack at a time, and senior year is officially underway! 🎓

A Day of Community Service, Connection and Learning.

🔴 21 Salamanca LPP students, in collaboration with the Salamanca Leaders, spent a wonderful day of community service at Prospect Elementary celebrating Dot Day!

🎨Students had the opportunity to read to the younger students, enjoy creative chalk activities outside, and spend time helping and encouraging them throughout the day.

⚪️ Not only were our students giving back to their community, but they also gained firsthand experience working with and teaching younger students. It was a day filled with creativity, laughter, leadership, learning and service.

❤️ We are so proud of our students for stepping up, getting involved, and being positive role models! ❤️

Community service is about more than giving your time. It’s about making connections, learning from one another, and making a difference.
