University Heights Collaborative

What a glorious day on Main Street in Buffalo. The Mega Main Street Cleanup took place this morning! I have never been down Main Street without seeing ANY trash!! Thanks to our partners: The Tool Library, Parkside Association, Central Park Association, the University Heights Collaborative, the City of Buffalo Tree Stewards, the UB Student Association and UB Community Relations. These are just the groups that showed up to lend a hand. We were all supported by the City of Buffalo, the Sanitation Department, the Forestry Program, the Save Our Streets Program, Councilman Rasheed Wyatt, Councilman Joel Feroleto and the University of Buffalo. Hope I didn’t forget anyone!

It’s great to be a part of something so positive😊

Come and get fresh and free veggies from the Tyler Community Garden produce stand!

Heads up! Anyone with a few hours next Saturday, we need you!! Join us as we tackle Main Street again. Even if you can’t stay the entire time, show up as long as you can. Let us know if you’re coming. We’ll have gloves, bags and tools. The Tool Library is even hosting a cook out afterwards for volunteers!

Absolutely hilarious! We called off the cleanup at Linear Park because of rain. I decided to go to the site in case if anyone showed. Rain had stopped. Everyone showed up!!! I only wish more people would come out. Think of what we could do! Picked some garbage and trimmed overhanging branches. Way to go!!!

Rain, rain go away! This morning’s cleanup at the Lasalle Metro Station and Linear Park has been cancelled. Rain is expected off and on all day. We’ll try again another day!
