Did Byron Brown really pull a Trump card deamonising democratic socialists and policies? Yea.
He claims he brought economic recovery to Buffalo, used federal and state money to support and sometimes float the government. That is a form of socialism in the USA. In the rust belt. Kinda worked, kinda got in the way of the neighborhood progress by being greedy and power hungry.
Endorse realness.

Gotta admit its getting better

Fall's fortune.
Even as the leaves fall there is more than a harvest. Planting healthy pasture, preparing for winter heat, transitioning property into other hands and animal care fill the days as corona once again calls for the world to strengthen and be ok with less contact. This next chapter offers more trees, more animals, more creativity and a bit less (or different) responsibility.

Corona caution bringing bright ideas
Steady progress even with the temporary return to winter.
2020 pledge
The coronavirus has strained our social safety nets and means by loss of employment, in many cases without unemployment benefits as an option.
To adjust, we have been doing boots on the ground food distribution to community members in need and to family. This may be supported and paralled by non profits, government and friends, we pledge our support to those who can't go shopping with abundance gardens by summer, food drop off and assistance with growing more this year. If anyone is interested in bulk buying (wholesale) we have the means and license to purchase and sell/ give.
Any interest in purchasing a box or case of nonperishable items from Goya or other local food distributors? Send a message or call.
Any proceeds from food sales will be used for offsetting basic costs of food delivery to our network of friends and family in need and purchasing for abundant gifting to those in extreme need without sufficient or any food assistance from the US government and New York state via ebt.
Now is not a time to feel sorry but to support, the neighborhood, the natural space we cultivate and the international family that has contributed to and inspired the Buffalo Range.
Any money generated from other handyman services or outdoor work through June will be divided evenly to support food distribution from the Peckham neighborhood in Buffalo, our activities in producing food for free distribution in western new york and as western union payments to friends in Venezuela, Chile, Senegal, Mozambique and Ecuador.
Because we can.

Food in the making
It's been simple social distancing in the garden.
As spring breaks, and the unpredictability of the future is on most minds the roots matter. Every gardener has a story, a family or learned knowledge of how to be patient and get a leg up on a growing season.
We feed ourselves with food that's from thousand of miles away most days. Though some may not admit, that's out of our control even eating from Lexington coop non gmo organic. This is a year to focus on what's in our hands. As friends far away question if the rice will be available or accessible it's worth considering our own food security. It's a good reminder even in the rust belt were fortunate to have the space and live in a community where growing better is possible.
