Drunken Homemaker

My 10 year old grew these from seed and today she made her first ever . I suggested using bleeding heart foliage as the filler, but she did most of it herself. She was so proud of her work. This is what I do as a parent to teach them an appreciation for the land we are taking care of. It's a drop in the bucket, but today it felt really good.

This week in the garden: starring my gorgeous Eden rose, Rosalie clematis, Mallow, Veronica, Dianthus and much more. I'm so happy with this front yard. The decision to take out all the grass and create a garden was the best! 😍🥰🌸

So today was a which was perfect for . I had an overgrown pot of than was begging for a haircut aaaand...look at this gorgeous gal!!! She has a fresh cut and I have a bunch of cuttings that should be ready to be potted up this spring. I love her!

I'm so excited to be working with as this has definitely been a bucket list item for me! Thank you to for believing in my play.

I've been working on getting my home office to where I want it. I'm a creator by nature. I love to write, knit, sew...etc. I love to be surrounded by things I love, which in turn, inspire me to create. I'm getting close to a space that does that, but I've had to get rid of a lot of stuff both spiritually and physically to get here. As I sit here, ready to jump in, with 30 pgs of a new play and a deadline, I'm really grateful and appreciative of progress. I'm enjoying the journey for the first time in my life.

That sad time of year where it gets so cold out that I bring my houseplants in, but at least they have new friends to keep them company!

When I fist got this I was worried because I saw a lot of folks struggling with them. But it has quickly become one of my favorite in my collection.
