Buffalo Transit Riders United (BTRU) is a collective of transit riders working for a more efficient and responsive transit system in the greater Buffalo area.
BTRU is a community of volunteers organizing transit riders for a more equitable and responsive public transit system by pressuring decision-makers and exposing injustices The NFTA bus and rail service is simply not meeting the needs of the community. As a constituency organization of CEJ, BTRU works with community leaders to hold the NFTA accountable through united community efforts. Sustainable

The ABBG survey is back through May 10. In years past, the results of this survey have led to the following:
✍️ Started a bus shelter expansion program that installed 30 new shelters in 2023, with plans for more in the following years.
✍️ Created a task force to improve on-time performance.
✍️ Added your voice to grant applications to get needed funds into the community.
✍️ Increased cleaning on buses and trains.
