"Ehling said the lack of response displayed in this request fits a pattern he and others have seen with the Walz Administration’s government transparency practices. Requests, they claim, often languish or are fulfilled after hyper-technical interpretations of the request and the law in ways that limit what is produced.

'We have seen these kinds of problems growing over time, especially in this administration,' Ehling said. 'The Walz Administration seems to be very focused on so-called narrative control, as people say in the P.R. business. Delaying until the news window has passed, or not giving out information that in our opinion they should.'"

I am so excited to be a part of the ground breaking for the Gap Project on I-94 on Friday, finally finishing the entire 6 lane expansion between Maple Grove and Clearwater. This final gap is between Albertville and Monticello (the MN Research Road).

I authored the very 1st bill 12 years ago that shone a bright light on the heavily used corridor. That bill, birthed the Corridors of Commerce funding mechanism which was a huge reason why this corridor got funding. Before that bill, the I-94 corridor was not on MNDOT's 5 year, 10 year nor even their 20 year construction plan.

I just have to say thank you to the hundreds that stopped by the Wright County Republican booth at the Wright County Fair last week. Your stories, your love of country and love for me personally was overwhelming. You all give me hope. I personally met folks from all our surrounding counties, and even people from as far away as California. I'm so proud to represent you, House District 29B, in St Paul.

We had 40 rolls of Trump stickers and had given away almost all of them by the time I left Sunday night. I've never seen anything like it.

Between the hugs and words of encouragement at the Monticello parade (pictured below) and the fair, I feel so honored to be "your gal".

I received my 2nd endorsement yesterday. I'm very proud to stand with law enforcement!

Senator Ron Latz (D) and I along with 67 of our legislative colleagues wrote an urgent letter today to the U of M President and the Regents regarding several antisemitic incidents at the U of M.

The potential hiring of Professor Segal to be the next director of the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, outraged the Jewish community. Two Jewish board members immediately resigned in protest. The Jewish community was not consulted and their voices silenced. Prof. Segal has publicly defended the October 7th massacre of over 1200 Jewish people and the kidnapping over 240 more.

I wanted my sister Reverend Sara Wille to meet Governor Walz since he just showed up in our chamber with a pan of homemade baked goods. I got a piece of coffee cake in the process. Sara is standing right next to me. She offered the prayer for the opening day of session. One never knows what will happen.
